About CHC New England

For nearly forty years, Community Health Charities has been a federation of America's premier health organizations that have joined together to raise charitable contributions in the workplace.  Employee donations are used to support these member charities and provide research, patient services and outreach in local communities.  Employees designate the charity or charities where they want their donations to go, and that’s where they go. 
 
Community Health Charities of New England has been dedicated to raising awareness and funds through workplace giving campaigns for New England's most crucial health charities. These member charities bring vital programs and services to residents throughout the region regardless of age, race or socio-economic status. Each charity is committed to providing support, treatment, education, research and cures for a healthier New England. We currently provide access to leading charities in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, encompassing almost every well-known disease or disability and many lesser-known ones.

Through our Workplace Health Promotion and Employee Engagement Division and in partnership with our member charities, Community Health Charities of New England serves as a valuable resource for members of the business community interested in promoting mental and physical wellness as well as volunteer opportunities for their employees.

Our Mission:

The mission of Community Health Charities of New England is to unite caring donors in the workplace with our nation's most trusted health charities.  

 

Community Health Charities of America is one of the most cost-effective non-profit organizations in the country, with Administrative and Fund Raising (AFR) expenses at just 2.2%. Community Health Charities of  New England currently supports local health charities in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, all of which are doing important work to improve the health and quality of life of those living in New England.  It is likely that every employee – or someone they know or love – has been affected by at least one of these worthy causes.  
  
Community Health Charities is partnered with some of the best employers, those who give their employees the health choice. The potential for growth is limitless as more employers realize the value of choice and make us part of their workplace giving campaigns.  
 
Community Health Charities of New England is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.  The Board of Directors is made up of community volunteers from the business and non-profit arena. 
 
The professional staff of Community Health Charities is here to help your organization in any way, from sharing health and wellness information and community involvement opportunities with employees to running a successful workplace giving campaign.
